Mubarak just ruined my vacation

If you remember the post when I said I was going to Egypt? Well surprise surprise. I’m not going. I don’t think I have to tell you why, because it is obvious. Demonstration, Mubarak, oh God how much I hate it. Anyway, as replacement, I have chosen Israel, Eilat. I am not 100% satisfied, but I guess its better than nothing. OR?

    It's sad what's happening in Egypt at the moment but hopefully it will work out soon. The place in Israel looks gorgeous though! You'll have an amazing time!!

    still a gorgeous place to visit! plus better to be safe than sorry. i had to cancel my trip to thailand last yr bc of the protests. xo

    Oh I wish my ruined travel plans took me to Israel. I have wanted to visit that country forever. :)

    AUSTRIA!! i know i know its not in the middle east or africa, but it's still gorgeous.
    Moracco is beautiful as well, fantastic beaches!
    And even south africa, safari is very fun!

    I have not been good with keeping up with the news, but I had heard a little something and just now read about what's going on in Egypt and thought of you. I couldn't remember if you were leaving soon or not. I hope you enjoy your trip to Israel. Safety first, yes?
